Tula Louise

Tula is still our BIG bundle of (loud, barking, messy, smelly, loving, crazy, cute, sweet) joy. She keeps us on our toes and lets us know when she is not happy. She is very vocal and likes to tell Brandon exactly what she thinks.

She loves to play with other dogs when she goes to the kennel, but is still working on doggie communication, and needs to have time-outs, just like at home. It's a good thing she does so well there as it has been her home away from home this summer with all of our weddings and trips.

She is really a good dog, or at least we think she wants to become a good dog :) We love her and wouldn't change her for anything!

She loves the Packers and thinks Aaron Rodgers is her boyfriend. One day Brandon said something bad about him and she went nuts!

3rd Anniversary

Tim and Gina, our sister and brother (in law) celebrated their 3rd anniversary this summer, congrats you guys we love you! Aren't they a good looking pair?

ELLEN IS ENGAGED!

I almost forgot, my other best friend in the world got engaged last February and is getting married next July. I'm so honored to be a part of this wedding and can't wait to celebrate! Congrats Ellen and Dan!

Krissy's Bachelorette!

In May, one of my best friends of all time, Krissy, had her bachelorette party. Her Mom and sister's did an awesome job, and it was waaaay to much fun.

Mackey, her now husband, also had his bachelor party. Of course boys don't take pictures... or picture taking is illegal at strip clubs, I can't remember ;)

Crohn's Walk & Mike n Jules Anniversary 2010

In May, over my parents 30th wedding anniversary weekend, we had almost everyone from both sides of the family come up to support the Crohn's Walk. It was a gorgeous weekend and the walk was very successful, we raised almost $3,000 as a team!

We all went out to dinner at Oceanaire to celebrate my mom and dad's anniversary. 30 years is amazing and so are they! They are the best example, along with Kevin and Diane, of how love, a marriage, and a family should be.

Finally A New Post, and in Our New House!

I haven't been very good about updating this thing and we have been very busy for the past 6 months so here it goes...

We moved into our new house at the end of April/Eary May this year and are so happy with it!

We had some good quality pool time, did a few house projects, tried to get used to house and yard work, realized how much work and money goes into houses, and had a lot of fun!

We plan to do more throughout the house, and have some more decorating to do EVERYWHERE, but are happy with where we are now. The next project is to clear the crap out of the garage so we can fit 2 cars in there for the winter :)

Our baby is getting BIGGER

Tula is a wild woman and has a very big personality to go along with her big size. She is a chewer and tries to eat everything in sight.

One day, she started throwing up and couldn't keep anything down. She wasn't acting like herself, all down in the dumps, so we took her to the vet to see what was up. Of course, when we get there, she is so happy and loving life. She loves the doctors office and thinks it's so fun to go there, weirdo. $100 later, for talking with the vet, she said she is fine and might have ate something but was acting too normal to be worried. The next morning, Brandon let her outside and saw something hanging from her butt. The little terd ate a sock and was passing it, which Brandon had to grab and pull, I think he threw up in his mouth a little bit.

Also, last week she had her surgery to prevent baby making, so we felt bad that she had to be crammed into her kennel with that big cone. We baracaded her into the front entry, the couch blocking her way into the family room, and her baby gate and kennel blocking the kitchen. When Brandon came home for lunch it was like someone had ransacked the kitchen. She had busted through her gate and kennel, and ate paper and magnets off the fridge, 2 shoes, everything from a purse, a bag of hamburger buns, a bag of beef jerky and God knows what else. Needless to say, we were angry, and she lost her priviledge to be out of the kennel when we are not home... EVER.

She is a lot of work, but so funny, cute, smart, and loving. We are having so much fun with our 80 lb baby, maybe we should get her a brother to play with :)

New House!

In February, we closed on a house and finally get to move in throughout April. They rented from us through March which was nice because we don't have a double payment with mortgage and rent for our townhome.

We are super excited and I've already been shopping to decorate. There is some wall paper to take down, but not much. Tula is excited to have more space and her own yard to destroy :)

When we saw the Packer and Viking helmets behind the bar, we knew it was supposed to be ours.

The basement is amazing, we fell in love with it and it felt like home.

The upstairs, a little too fancy for my taste, our first projects will be up here.

Back yard, it's nice because it back up to other yards, not houses.

The pool, we'll see how it goes this summer, they tell us it's not too difficult.

We start moving in a week from now and I can't wait. We are so blessed to have so many exciting things happening. We are also looking forward to having everyone over and having a place for people to come visit.

Honeymoon in Cabo

In January, we took a much needed trip to Cabo for our honeymoon. My parents were VERY generous, thanks Mom and Dad! We stayed at their timeshare which is blocks from downtown Cabo and next to great restaurants and bars.

We had a blast being lazy, lounging by the pool, sipping drinks, going out downtown, whalewatching, eating out etc etc etc. I was very crabby the last day because we had to go back to the fridgid MN winter. It was so much fun for the two of us to have some time alone and be on our schedule (rather than baby Tula's :))

New Years!

It has been awhile since I've updated, now that I have a Sunday with NO WORK (yay!), I can catch up :)

Our friends Chelsey and Ryan had people over for New Year's Eve. It was a great party with lots of food and of course too many drinks! We are at that point where going downtown to the bars with all of those people and crazies sounds more like a lot of work than fun... we are getting old.

Chels and Ryan bought a house in the last year and have it looking so cute with all of their new furniture, I may ask her for some help on ours.
